Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Tubetific ("we," "our," "the app") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Tubetific web application and any connected features described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's basic profile information (name and email) instead of a password.

YouTube channel data (only if you connect a channel). If you choose to connect your YouTube channel, you'll be asked to grant permission through Google's own consent screen. Depending on what you authorize, we may access:

• Public information about your channel and videos (titles, statistics, thumbnails) — the same information publicly visible on YouTube.
• Private channel analytics you specifically authorize us to view (such as watch time, audience retention, and traffic sources), made available only because you are the owner of that channel and have granted consent. We access this data read-only — Tubetific never posts, edits, or deletes anything on your YouTube channel.

Usage data. We record which features you use and how often, so we can enforce plan limits and improve the product.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our own servers.

Cookies. We use a single secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To operate your account and provide the features you use, including any analysis based on your own connected channel's data.
• To enforce the usage limits associated with your plan.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as billing or security notices.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your YouTube data for advertising purposes.

3. How your information is shared

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate Tubetific, each bound by their own data-handling obligations:

• Google / YouTube APIs — to retrieve YouTube data on your behalf, strictly according to the permissions you grant.
• Our database provider — to securely store your account and channel data.
• AI providers (used to generate the analysis and content suggestions you request) — process the specific data needed to fulfill your request and do not use it to train their own models on our behalf.
• Our payment processor — to handle subscription billing.
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the application.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect your YouTube channel, we delete the associated access tokens. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will complete the deletion within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

5. Your choices

• You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from within the app, or revoke Tubetific's access directly from your Google Account permissions page.
• You can request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

6. Children's privacy

Tubetific is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect information from, children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
